Kratos is looking for a Learning & Development Management Specialist for it's corporate headquarters. This position is a hybrid/remote position within the U.S.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Designs and develops training course materials for internal staff. Develops assessment tools to determine effectiveness of proposed training programs. Interacts with Divisions to develop specifications for content of courses. Prepares lesson plans including the method, media, and documentation to be presented. May facilitate training courses and/or train key stakeholders.
- Responsible for the roadmap, user experience and system administration required to ensure online and instructor – lead training programs.
- Responsible for process and quality improvements, feedback on usage and system defects.
- Manages the daily operation, use, configuration, and governance of our LMS (Percipio).
- Identifies and communicates opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, challenges and suggested enhancements.
- Leads overall governance for learning management support tickets.
- Collaborates with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs to develop learning programs.
- Supports the design engaging and effective training materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and other learning resources.
- Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
- Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
- Maintains procedures and policies to ensure the security, governance, and integrity of LMS platforms.
- Ability to convert documents into SCORM files to upload to our LMS (Percipio).
- Recommends new approaches, modifications or changes that will improve efficiency and/or effectiveness.
- Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and business units.
- Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
- Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
- Assists in preparing and implementing training budget and maintains records and reports of expenses.
- Partners with HRIS on the operation, use, configuration, of the LMS (Percipio) system.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Experience and Skills:
- Must have experience with LMSs preferably in Percipio.
- Knowledge in Skillsoft or other software to covert to SCORM files (Articulate, Publisher, and Skillsoft)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
- Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties, including computer skills.
- Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.
- Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.
- Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing, and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment, and changes, and more.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities as it pertains to your job.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience in a Learning Management System administration.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Home Office Environment.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, mouse, phones).
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Yes, as needed.
