Reporting to the Executive Director and Program Manager, the Lead Youth Training specialist works inside various South King County school districts. 75% of this positions time will be allocated to supervising B2L Direct staff and ensuring we are completing the deliverables and achieving the outcomes of our "Pathway to Success Series" programs. 25% of this position will be responsible for co-facilitating our "Closing the G.A.P." program and working to help youth secure employment after graduation. Time will be split amongst current in-school and community-based projects. More of what you’ll do in this role:
Direct Programming:
- Facilitate Build 2 Lead Pathway to Success Series programing in-school, afterschool and in community. Topics include best practices and strategies for Trauma Informed Care, Youth Listening Sessions, Community-Engagement Info. Sessions, and Youth Restorative Practice Training Sessions..
- Recruit students for our community-based/afterschool civic engagement opportunities.
- Capture and track student key performance indicators for data detailing student progress.
- Capture and track students attendance, demographic information, and milestones completed for the assigned progam.
- Connect B2L participants to our Youth Resiliency and Community Case manager. • Co-facilitate student's needs assessment with Youth Resiliency and Community Case manager
- Provide students with connections to resources through B2L partner organizations.
- Hold student check and connect sessions monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly to track progress towards individual service plan goals.
- Attend school-based meetings with key leaders and program partners in the building, build effective connections with community partner meetings in person and virtually and regularly attend B2L team huddles.
- Meet monthly with Key partners to discuss shared students and progress of partnership.
- Support the coordination of B2L Legacy events.
- Recruit participants and presenters for B2L Legacy events.
- Attend pertinent staff meetings.
- Attend B2L Board Annual Retreat Meeting
Staff Supervision/Program Manager Support:
- Support program manager in ensuring staff are providing quality programming through the B2L Direct Youth Program Quality Assessment.
- Work with staff for program recruitment for all B2L Direct Programs/Initatives.
- Support program manager and staff with facilitation needs of B2L Direct programs in case of absences, staffing changes, or emergencies.
- Support program manager in ensuring staff have completed weekly reports, have updated trackers weekly, and are tracking youth milestones for B2L direct programs.
- Meet monthly with Executive Director and Program Manager during our B2L Programmatic Leadership Team Meetings.
- Support program manager in reviewing youth jotforms and assessing for immediate conversations regarding case management metrics in B2L jotforms.

Pay: Up to $28.25 per hour
