Shift: Shift 1

Work Schedule: 8 Hr (8:00:00 AM - 4:00:00 PM)

Summary:
This position will develop and maintain a data sharing enclave for research studies at the Rush Institute for Healthy Aging. Will provide innovative solutions for websites, digital campaigns, and mobile and multimedia experiences across multiple platforms. Responsible for definition, functional design, development, testing, and support of web-based data-driven portals. Maintains websites includes adding content, keeping active backups, ensuring the security of the site, and keeping software up to date. Handles highly complex work critical to the organization. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Handles highly complex work critical to the organization.
Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring.
Responsible for transforming website design into functionality; tests and maintains website layout and other components to enhance user-experience.
Ensures the proper integration of web servers and related supporting systems.
Understands and follows through with business requirements during all phases of development.
Makes certain that development procedures provide for optimal navigation, configuration management, and user-experience.
Continuously maintains the website(s); tests and troubleshoots issues and problems.
Communicates with programmers, designers, and other specialists on matters of website concept, deign, and architecture.

Other information:
Bachelor degree.
7 years of developing websites and/or web applications.
Experience creating an overarching web strategy and managing web projects.
Experience developing for mobile platforms and/or mobile applications.
Understanding of server and operating system environments as related to website operation.
Proficiency with object-oriented programming concepts, such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, .NET or XML.
A solid understanding of development processes and standards.
Strong project management skills and ability to adhere to deadlines.
Experience collaborating with a creative team.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Problem analysis and problems solving skills.
