JOB SUMMARY: The Lead Water Restoration Technician is responsible for restoration/mitigation and cleaning jobs. Roto-Rooter Plumbers and Restoration is looking for a qualified Restoration Technician in water damage/mold restoration to seek out and run jobs according to our industry-leading standards. This position requires a person who is self-motivated, experienced in Restoration, and has great customer service skills. LEAD WATER RESTORATION TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core mitigation/Restoration Technician duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Visits new assignments/jobs for water mitigation and restoration projects, interfaces with the client.
• Scopes and assesses construction/deconstruction damages within disaster sites, cleaning strategies.
• Coordinates mitigation repairs and ensures the construction/deconstruction project gets completed to RotoCo standards.
• Make sure restoration/mitigation jobs are completed.
• Meeting customer expectations of mitigation/restoration project and collects payment for work completed.
• Meets deadlines, progress, and quality on multiple mitigation/restoration projects simultaneously.
• Pursues new water damage deconstruction, interfaces with potential clients.
• Coordinates with Project Manager to mitigate damages.
• Responds to dispatched emergency calls, on-call – required to work weekends and after hours.

LEAD WATER RESTORATION TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Must have a valid CA driver’s license with clean record.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a technician in restoration/reconstruction
• Must live within 30 minutes of branch location
• Able to work weekends and after hours.
• Basic knowledge of Smart devices.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• IICRC certified a plus.
• Background check and drug screening are required.
