Lead Ui/Ux Designer

CLA is currently seeking a Lead UI/UX Designer to join our growing CLA Internal IT Team. The Lead UI/UX Senior Designer works with Business stakeholders, Internal/External users, Architecture, and development teams to help articulate clear user experience requirements and design and translate them into wireframes and clickable prototypes.
About the role:
• Design & Development: Design and validate new experiences via mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, and other UX artifacts. Collaborate with cross-functional business leaders to gain insights into project goals, feasibility, and timelines
• Projects: Work with the team to help drive strategic initiatives via proof-of-concept designs and prototypes. Assist in providing cost and time estimates for project tasks and defining project tasks. Complete project work within agreed upon deadlines.
• Testing & Documentation: Document and maintain user interface design specification and templates.
• Client Service: Effectively communicates with a wide range of clients (partners, business users, IT team members, vendors, management). Interacts with senior leaders and team members to discuss requirements, explore solutions, and demonstrate functionality.
What you will need:
• Seven years of experience in UI/ UX designs and working as a team member on multiple projects or applications.
• Overall experience must include 3 years in complex project management or supervisory roles
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of experience, education and training may be accepted in lieu of degree

Technical Competencies
Experience designing from a UI design pattern library. Ability to generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work. Knowledge of the Agile software development process. Effectively communicate with architects/developers/engineers. Proficiency with web standards and accessibility compliance.
