The impact you will have in this role:
As a Lead Test Architect, you'll operate at the forefront of test strategy and architecture, overseeing the design, implementation, and evolution of sophisticated testing frameworks and methodologies. This role requires extensive expertise in test automation, programming, and a comprehensive understanding of testing tools and technologies. You'll be instrumental in driving quality, influencing architectural decisions, and mentoring teams to uphold the highest standards of software testing.
Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Strategic Test Framework Development: Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of advanced test frameworks applying brand-new technologies and programming languages to support sophisticated testing needs.
• Innovation and Feasibility Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies, and develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to advance the Test Architecture landscape.
• Architectural Contributions: Play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of software/data testing frameworks, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adaptability to evolving business needs.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Engage with diverse stakeholders including Product Management, Application Development, DevOps, and technical teams to strategize and coordinate testing efforts across the enterprise.
• Technical Guidance and Mentorship: Provide leadership, guidance, and training to Test Engineers, nurturing their skills and facilitating the transition towards a sophisticated Test Engineering paradigm.
• Risk Mitigation and Compliance: Incorporate risk and control processes into daily responsibilities, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks while adhering to compliance standards.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Design and expand framework capabilities for implementing automated tests across varied environments.
• Develop end-to-end automated tests using advanced programming languages (Java, JS, Selenium) to validate system functionality.
• Extend automated testing to cover component behavior through automated component tests.
• Integrate automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
• Align closely with development and testing teams to comprehend technical and business requirements, shaping test strategies accordingly.
• Contribute extensively to the enhancement and evolution of the automation framework.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive IT experience.
• Extensive background as a Senior Test Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Proven track record of leadership in architecting testing solutions.

Talents Needed for Success:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java Development or Test Development, focusing on test automation frameworks. (Proficiency levels exceed those of a Senior SDET)
• Advanced proficiency in Java, design patterns, and data structures, adeptly applied in testing environments.
• In-depth expertise (minimum 6+ years) with Selenium and other open-source tools (TestNG/JUnit).
• Deep understanding and experience in web service testing and automation.
• Proficiency in CI/CD technologies (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).
• Ability to programmatically test any software product and develop tests for proprietary code.
• Broad knowledge or experience with tools/languages like AngularJS, Protractor, Jasmine, JavaScript, JMeter, UFT/QTP, etc.
• Expertise in automating services/API software layers and familiarity with AWS Cloud.
• Proven track record to devise creative solutions when conventional tools fall short.
• Exceptional mentorship skills, guiding and coaching junior and mid-level automation engineers effectively.
• Strong multitasking ability and competence in navigating fast-paced, concurrent work streams.
• Refined analytical, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in program and quality management, along with superb communication skills.
• Self-motivated, meticulous problem solver with a steadfast dedication to quality and improvement.
• Effective in both independent work and collaborative team environments
