- Apply advanced sourcing strategies to drive and maintain a diverse talent pipeline.
- Utilize diverse and innovative sourcing tools and techniques to identify key and hard to find talent.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and best practices in technical recruitment.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, team dynamics, and technical requirements for open positions.
- Establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communications with managers and the Talent Management team.
- Maintain regular communication to provide updates on recruitment progress and discuss candidate feedback.
- Use data insights to optimize recruitment strategies and improve overall hiring processes.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of all activities to ensure company and legal compliance with employment practices, processes, policies, and applicable laws.
- Work closely with an HR Coordinator who supports scheduling, screening, and other administrative duties.
- Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter or in a similar role, preferably within the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of full lifecycle recruiting.
- Excellent builder of relationships and have a knack for influencing without authority.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of professonalism and confidentiality.
- In-depth knowledge of technical skills, programming languages, and IT roles.
- Demonstrated ability to network and use of informal sources
- Ability to generate leads and create activity
- Ability to work autonomously in addition to working collaboratively with a team
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), iCIMS preferred.
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Unison is headquartered in Northern Virginia and team members meet in person from time to time. For this reason, location in DC-Metro is a plus.
