The Role

As a Lead Technical Program Manager, you will be a key member of the Project Management Office (PMO) leadership team and will influence the broader strategic and operational needs within the PMO. This position provides skilled Program and Project leadership to plan, manage and deliver all aspects of one or more large, technical and complex Program(s) / Project(s), crossing multiple disciplines.  Key success factors for this role are a track record and passion for leading and delivering Program(s) and Project(s) on-time, on-budget and to scope specifications.  This is a lead PM role in a matrix management environment where strong leadership, training and mentoring of less experienced PM's is required.
 

The Main Responsibilities

•    Drive critical fiber to the home expansion projects.
•    Collaborating with directors and leads within the PMO and across groups.
•    Synthesize disparate information into clear recommendations, actions and decisions.
•    Provides technical direction to engineering projects and services in an assigned area, from design to start-up. 
•    Lead to ensure that the project is on schedule, is high quality, is within budget, and meets the measures of success (MOS) and the high-level achievements (HLA). 
•    Oversee and mitigate risks across technical functional lanes to ensure that project meets agreed upon MOS and HLAs. 
•    Lead and maintain client/stakeholder partnership to ensure overall satisfaction. 
•    Responsible for resource requirements/allocation.
•    Develops methodologies, procedures, and systems to produce financial reporting.
•    Acts as project team leader.
•    Maintain knowledge in several of the following: technical architecture and solution creation, software development lifecycle management in mainframe, midrange and three tier architecture, software testing methodology, production deployment, development, and requirements management.
 

What We Look For in a Candidate

•    Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related experience
•    Expertise and training in program and project management methods (waterfall & agile), and a strong business acumen.
•    Able to identify and resolve process, procedure, and tool gaps to improve overall program success.
•    Experience in Fiber-to-the-Home network infrastructure, design, and deployment.
•    8+ years related experience

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$94420 - $125890 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$99390 - $132510 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$104360 - $139140 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$109330 - $145770 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
