Essential Job Duties:
- Assist classroom teacher with planning and implementing curriculum program which reflects observations and goals of each child.
- Develop and maintain a safe, nurturing, and healthy learning environment in which infants can learn and grow.
- Lead and educate children through activities of the day, assuring they have an enjoyable, well-rounded educational experience while providing positive guidance.
- Participate in parent communication.
- Assist in meeting child’s basic needs (diapers, attention, etc.).
- Build a positive relationship with each child.
- Maintain confidentiality of school directives, curriculum, and software.
- Be familiar with policies and procedures of The Gardner School and State Licensing Agencies.
- Maintain professional and positive relationships with parents and co-workers.
- Meet state licensing requirements for education and experience. Knowledge of general administrative tasks

- Regular and reliable attendance
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Two years of professional teaching experience anywhere from 6 weeks to 5 years old
- Must love working with children and have a loving and nurturing personality.
- Excellent communication skills, including personal face-to-face communications with parents, staff, and children.
- Have a teamwork mindset, strong communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability. Frequently lifts or moves weight as in lifting, carrying, and holding children and infants of 10 to 60 pounds.
- Ability to operate computer, phone and other office equipment as needed
- Ability to lift and carry of children up to 60 pounds
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
