ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of quality patient care and adherence to policies, procedures and therapy
protocols.
- Actively participate in the process of monitoring, guiding and evaluating staff performance.
- Contribute to efficient operations by assisting with coordinating activities, prioritizing workflow and promoting decision-making and problem solving.
- Perform the duties of a speech-Language Pathologist.
- Provide consultation for and/or management of patients requiring complex or advanced treatment.
- Serve as a positive role model for staff and patients by working with them to promote teamwork and cooperation.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Will also accept Texas-Speech Language Pathologist - Intern
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
- 2 years of clinical experience, acute care experience
