Lead Spanish Teacher - Early Childhood Education

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Two's Teacher to join our growing Spanish immersion program. Our school's philosophy is play-based, with an emergent curriculum that is developed based on the questions and interests of the children, utilizing a Reggio Emilia approach. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about creating a warm and inspiring environment for children to learn and grow, and who has a love of music and nature.

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction in Spanish to our Two's program
• Develop and implement sensory and play-based curriculum and activities that emphasize science, math, and art
• Foster a positive culture and mindset for children in the classroom
• Utilize the outdoor classrooms and garden for discovery and learning
• Help children towards independence in self-care, eating, dressing, and using the toilet
• Maintain a safe and caring learning environment by implementing positive mindset practices
• Communicate with parents on a daily basis
• Diapering and napping of children
• Cleaning duties

Requirements:

• 12 ECE units and minimum of 2 years of experience
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Knowledge of DRDP assessment
• Live Scan fingerprint and criminal background clearance
• Ability to speak, read and write Spanish and English
• Must be able to use a computer with basic proficiency
• Authorization to work in the United States
