The Lead Software Architect will be responsible for ensuring the design and development of Software Architecture aligns with business objectives and scalability. You will partner cross-functionally to define system requirements and design solutions that integrate seamlessly into complex engineering systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architect solutions that support integration of software into hardware with scalability and performance optimization, particularly for large-scale and mission-critical applications
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development teams
- Drive architectural decisions to optimize system performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Influence the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns across projects
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain high standards of software quality
- Implement and oversee testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of software solutions
- Work closely with product managers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Software Architecture
- Architect solutions that support scalability and performance optimization, particularly for large-scale and mission-critical applications
- Conduct performance assessments and implement optimizations as needed
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Linux development experience including drivers and kernel modules.
- Configuration and optimization of Linux operating system for use.
- Demonstrated ability to follow Agile Software Development process.
- Language examples: C/C++, JavaScript, Python.
- 6+ years of experience in Software Architecture and development
- Expert level knowledge in design principals, architectural patterns, and coding standards
- Strong background in multiple programming languages and technologies
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
