Expectations:

The Lead Security Officer, provides a safe and secure environment of care for all persons on the premises. This officer does so by providing security services such as fire/life safety systems monitoring and dispatch services. In addition, this position performs patrols of hospital property, answering calls for service and documenting activities and incident responses. As needed, this position performs relief shift supervision duties in the absence of the shift supervisor. CA drivers license, Guard Card and baton card certifications are required. Work other shift. This position requires flexibility of hours.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Two or more years' experience in security, law enforcement or military.
Experience in hospital security and/or dispatch operations is strongly preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current California (CA) driver’s license. Must be insurable under Huntington's liability insurance.
Current CA Guard Card with Baton Permit
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
SKILLS:
Read, write, speak English fluently. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred. Read, write, speak English fluently. Basic computer knowledge, to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, and other hospital related programs. Basic report writing skills.
