Lead Road Supervisor/Quality Assurance for A-National Transit must possess the ability to safely operate a vehicle in variant weather and traffic conditions. Candidate must have a good understanding of the basic needs of clients covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the ability to operate lift-equipped vehicles and to transport passengers using various mobility devices. Road Supervisors monitors daily buses and drivers ensuring that street operations are meeting all contract, company and safety policies and procedures. This position operates in conjunction with our drivers 24/7.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be at least 21 years or older
2. Must have and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license
3. Pass a background check
4. Pass a DOT physical and drug test
5. Must have been a licensed driver for at least three (3) years consecutively
6. Must be able to speak and understand English proficiently
7. Must always maintain a valid Department of Transportation card (DOT)
9. You Must Be Available and Flexible to Work ALL Shifts! We are a 24 hour/7 day operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Experience with Trapeze software preferred
2. Minimum of two (2) years of experience required as a Full-Time Bus Operator
3. Minimum of two (2) years of field supervision experience
4. Experience in insurance reporting and claims protocol
5. Experience drug and alcohol compliance
6. Previous transportation industry experience - Paratransit preferred
7.Ability to self-manage and work independently
8. Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
9. Positive attitude - provide exceptional customer service
10.. Assist Lot Attendant at Rollout
11. Assist the Road Supervisors with accidents & incidents protocol
12. Will be charge of the Safety and Training Department in the absence of the Safety and Training Director
13. Coach and develop the Road Supervisors
14. Coach and develop the Operators on their Drive-cam performance
15. Schedule and conduct trail checks on Road Supervisors & Operators
16. Report and research details associated with all accidents & incidents covered by the Road Supervisors
17. Gather and submit Drug & Alcohol information to the Safety and Training Director and Operations Reporting Analyst
