Remote Control Center (RCC) Lead
Where will you work: On-site - Riverview (8813 US Hwy 41 S, Riverview, FL 33578). You will work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule alternating between day shift and night shift (either 7AM - 7PM or 7PM - 7AM) with the opportunity to have seven days off in a row every four weeks.
As the RCC Lead you will serve as a key member of the IOC and collaborate with other disciplines to help the company meet goals and KPIs established for the IOC. In this role, you will supervise a 24/7 team of operators and provide daily direction to salaried shift supervisors. You will work with the team to safely deliver the production plan, minimize downtime and speed loss events. In this role, you will maintain cross department situational awareness, monitor plant rates, inventories and coordinate/prioritize activities across all departments for site(s) of responsibility. You will be responsible for communicating a clear set of accountabilities for direct reports, performance management, development, coaching and training of personnel. Additionally, you will act as the interface between production optimization, centralized support functions and plant leadership to meet expectations of quality, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure the RCC provides results through trusted real-time decision-making and support to plant operations.
- Provide real-time direction for shift supervisors to help coordinate troubleshooting, planned and unplanned work to minimize downtime.
- Prioritize and execution of all shift maintenance activities.
- Permit approval, critical bypass requests, act as the incident commander for ERT issues and ensuring compliance with regulatory, Mosaic Management System and other compliance requirements for their shift.
- Monitor inventories, quality and plant rates to identify variances to plan and to action gap closure.
- Communicate with plant and IOC teams to action optimization opportunities.
- Work with the production engineers and area supervisors to develop and maintain a list of continuous improvement ideas for plant optimization, troubleshooting and efficiency improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Production Supervisors, logistics, Central IOC / Production Assurance, area supervisors and managers for all departments.
- Collaborate with all departments, Fishhawk support teams, and management to understand and act upon short and long-term strategic goals.
- Communicate plant issues, cross site impacts, and need for higher level support.
- Consolidate shift performance communications and publish reports both internally to the site(s), to the Central IOC, and to Support Functions (i.e. Supply Chain, Commercial, Engineering, AI, etc…).
- Coordinate and review asset utilization, the Rate Limiting Asset and path to improved daily performance and communication to other internal IOC members and Central IOC for support in meeting the IOC goals.
What you’ll need:
- High School/GED
- 8 years of related operations experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead personnel, including salaried (directly or indirectly) to achieve results
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Solid operational experience in at least one Production department and a general understanding of all Production processes
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, establish trust and communicate across multiple levels of the company.
- Organizational skills to prioritize shared resources and requests from multiple departments with the business acumen to understand the impact both internal to site and across other Mosaic Functions.
- Microsoft Office experience
