The Team Lead manages a team of Live Ops Product Managers that oversee the life cycle of in-game mechanics and features within Jackpot Party Casino, focusing on projecting revenue impact through data and statistical methods. The Team Lead seeks ways to optimize and improve the status quo of every aspect of the games’ tuning. They lead A/B tests to isolate feature impacts, evaluate results, and collaborate with Features Product Managers and Analysts for comprehensive product analysis. Working closely with the Director of Monetization, this role drives organizational, procedural, and long-term strategic initiatives for Jackpot Party Casino. The Team Lead ensures optimization of live ops events and features to achieve revenue targets and product goals. In collaboration with the live operations team, the position strategically influences positive player behavior and daily monetization outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

Managing a team of Live Ops Product Managers

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to team members, offering insights and advice to help them navigate challenges and develop professionally.
  • Skill Development: Identify and encourage the enhancement of individual skills, facilitating training opportunities or projects that contribute to personal and professional growth.
  • Feedback and Recognition: Offer constructive feedback regularly and acknowledge achievements to motivate and boost confidence.
  • Goal Setting: Collaborate with team members to set clear and achievable goals, aligning them with both personal development and organizational objectives.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews, discussing strengths, areas for improvement, and future development plans.
  • Career Path Planning: Work with employees to create a roadmap for career advancement, aligning their aspirations with the team's and company's needs.
  • Communication Skills: Encourage effective communication within the team, fostering an environment where ideas and concerns can be openly shared. While working on the communication with the rest of the Jackpot Party team, streamlined and open communication that helps all aspects of the team do their jobs in the best way possible.

Work to always be optimizing the tuning aspects of the game

Defining, communicating, and executing the Live Game strategy

  • Promotions and Live Ops events
  • Working with the designers and Live Ops PMs on building and executing the game’s events calendar

Ownership

  • Constantly monitoring and driving users’ engagement (early retention, DoD and long-term retention)
  • Ensuring the game feels alive, appealing, and exciting on a daily basis, including in - game and external of the game communication channels
  • Initiate new Live Ops features and improvements. Working as an internal customer of the product team for developing those features and additions to the game.
  • Using a tailor–made approach for users (segmentation) driven by deep analytics capabilities and learnings.
  • Executing and running the game’s special offers and sales based on the strategy defined by the game’s economist.
  • Highly focused on features that drive engagement through the means of events and promotions.
  • Work with Analytics to plan comprehensive testing strategies for Live Ops events and tuning strategy changes, that will be tested in-game.
  • Review daily KPIs and proactively identify opportunities, trends, and threats to the product.
  • Evaluate notable competitors and share key insights / learnings to test.
  • Constantly seek improvement opportunities in our day-to-day workflows
  • Evaluate test results of implemented changes and make recommendations for future iterations.


Requirements:

  • Proven record of management experience.
  • Must be passionate about the product and has a strong desire to move the genre forward.
  • Motivated to win market share while building a high-quality product.
  • 4+ years relevant experience

Preferred Experience:

  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in gaming, social, online casino, or consumer mobile live service products.
  • PLUS: Previously worked designing events/promotions on a mobile game.
