WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As our Lead ACG Apparel Product Line Manager, this individual will oversee all facets of the apparel product creation process for ACG Apparel. This is a high visibility role with both strategic and creative elements, leading the product seasonal strategy to meet financial targets and product creation process. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of Consumer, Lifestyle Trends, Outdoor, Sport, Street, and Sneaker Culture. You will be someone who has strong collaborative, operational, communication, and analytical abilities and can influence critical team members across a complex matrix operating model. We are looking for someone that has a passion for Apparel Product Creation!
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
You will be responsible for crafting insightful product briefs, analyzing consumer and competitive trends in Apparel to bring innovative, quality products to market that meets margin targets. Additionally, you will be responsible to help effectively lead and execute (in partnership with your triad), on-site creation, fit-sessions and proto reviews to ensure optimum product creation and execution. You will own strategy and the successful execution of the line plan architecture in partnership with Global Merchandising. This person will also be responsible for creating impactful presentations, strategic product road maps, that leverage digital tools at appropriate gates to inform and inspire triad and downstream partners around our seasonal product strategies!
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will Lead Product strategy, consumer work, and product creation processes for the overall Product Line in collaboration with the Product Leadership. You will spend time with consumers, the creation triad (product/graphic design, technical development, product creation center, and sourcing/costing) as well as global merchandising partners to conduct analyses of the current business and assortment opportunities. You will also lead the design and development teams to hit key deliverables each season, including all key creation deadlines. You will co-own the successful creation and execution of the line plan architecture in partnership with Global Merchandising. This individual will collaborate with teammates in Men's Sportswear, TCOE/Accessories, Geo GEL Teams and merchandising teams as well as the Men's Sportswear Apparel design triads (apparel, graphic, and color) and ACG Footwear. You will also share standard methodologies and strategies from the Men's Sportswear Apparel business with product peers, cross-functional partners, and leadership teams within Sportswear and across the gender offense.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in a product-related role or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • Deep understanding of the men's consumer, outdoor culture, street culture and market (key consumer trends and moments, aesthetic, preferences, relevant brands, industry collaborations, brand history, etc.)
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intuition for business & strong analytical abilities
  • An in-depth understanding of apparel product construction and sourcing process
  • Able to lead and influence a team and enable collaborative working relationships
  • Attention to detail and deadlines
  • Results driven, open to raising hand, and proposing new product/process ideas
  • Experience in visiting/working at an apparel factory, garment construction, graphic application methods, garment washes, and finishes is preferred.
  • Experience monitoring and understanding trends, and applying that understanding to product briefs is preferred
  • Necessary Skills/Tools: Visual Tool Creation (Keynote/Miro), Excel Skills, Retail Math, Smartsheets
