Lead Platform Architect

Intapp is looking for its Lead Platform Architect to drive the expansion of its Intapp Cloud Platform and transform the software landscape for the Professional Services and Financial Services markets, building a new category of cloud software to power the front-office of our clients.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned Enterprise and Software architecture leader, an expert in building modular, scalable cloud distributed Platforms, someone who has the passion for applying cloud technologies to solving business problems, and who can appropriately be both strategic and hands-on.

You will be actively contributing your knowledge of modern software architecture and technologies and the most current software development frameworks and techniques. You will be promoting the use of the latest trends in cloud technologies and architecture to produce services that meet our products’ demands and to evolve them in a fast-moving environment.

You will have a high degree of visibility, with exposure to the executive team, and will work closely with Product and Cloud Engineering, Product Management, Support, and Professional Services.

What you will contribute

• Responsible for the technical architecture of the Intapp Platform, providing architectural leadership across business application domains, data architecture, data integration, security and cloud technologies
• Define and document the cloud Platform reference architecture and drive its implementation
• Engage with technical and business stakeholders to understand business needs, articulate the architectural vision, and guide product and engineering teams in defining solutions
• Provide architectural oversight during product definition, requirements specification, and design; ensure that the end product is aligned to the cloud strategy and the reference architecture.
• Provide strategic recommendations for Cloud service architecture design, infrastructure design, software development design/architecture, application frameworks, and/or interfaces.
• Drive cloud security and compliance requirements into the cloud architecture framework
• Be the evangelist of the Intapp Cloud Platform architecture and influence Product Management, Product & Cloud Engineering to the reference architecture
• Be the champion of adopting the best design practices and ensure Intapp cloud services are built consistently aligned to the expressed cloud architecture

What you will need:

• 10+ years of experience in a Software and/or Enterprise Architect role, designing and driving the technical design of large-scale commercial, enterprise-class distributed cloud software in domains such as CRM, ERP, HRIS, etc.
• Demonstrated experience architecting and deploying secure enterprise-class cloud services.
• Extensive experience working with cloud (Azure is a strong plus) and data processing technologies and architectures, preferably in a product company
• Extensive experience in modern software architecture, cloud platforms, REST & other API concepts, design patterns, messaging, security, availability, reliability, scalability, and maintainability models
• Highly experienced in hands-on product development (software development, system and application architecture for both on-prem and cloud environments)
• Experience having successfully guided the refactoring of a large monolithic application into multiple microservices would be a strong plus
• Domain expertise in Java, Spring, .NET and .NET Core as well as experience with relational databases and NoSQL technologies
• Familiar with technologies such as: Linux, Kafka, Redis, Spark, Flink, Elasticsearch, OpenTracing, Prometheus, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience architecting multi-tenant complex cloud distributed systems at a global scale using the latest cloud technologies (e.g: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, etc.
• Working experience with modern development and delivery methodologies such as Agile, Extreme Programming and the CI/CD maturity model
• M.S. in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
