The Lead Patient Financial Counselor will be a content expert among their peers and will provide input on program development, workflows, and creating efficiencies within the department. This role will support the training and development of the Senior Patient Financial Counselors and will act as a sounding board for the core leader on policies, workflow development, and annual evaluations. They will track statistics and volumes and help guide metrics of measurement for productivity. The lead will continue to perform the work of the Senior Patient Financial Counselor and will spend about 30 percent of their time on lead duties.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, business administration, or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 2 years of prior background in a healthcare setting of billing, financial counseling, or financial advocacy with proficiency in medical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, business administration, or related field.
