LEAD ORDER SELECTOR

We are currently seeking aLEAD ORDER SELECTOR for our Tampa location.

This is a Monday -Friday, 3PM-11:30 PM.

Salary$20to $23/ HR.

The main responsibility of the Lead Selector is to lead daily operations within the Selecting Department by overseeing the quality and production rates of the Selecting Team as they stage orders on the shipping platform in a manner that meets Colonial safety, security, and productivity standards. Ensuring accurate and timely picking processes of all orders with maximum efficiency. As well as providing coaching assistance to the picking team members while maintaining all company policies and procedures

Duties and Responsibilities

· Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage

· Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled

· Experience using powered pallet jack for order selection.

· Meet company standards for productivity and average pick per hour/day.

· Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards

· Overtime is required when needed Monday- Friday.

Working conditions

Environment is a climate-controlled warehouse. Selector position requires repetitive motions, using upper and lower extremities, mount and dismount equipment. Routine deadlines, sufficient lead time, variance in work volume seasonal and predictable, frequent interruptions are present, occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor. Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Job frequently requires standing, handling objects with hands, standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting over 50 lbs. Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties. Must have pallet jack experience. Perform in Warehouse environments.

Preferred Education or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years of Order Selector experience required. Electric pallet jack experience is required. RF Scanner experience preferred.
