Lead Operator-Southern Operations Job

Dunn Center Team Lead Position
The successful candidate will be accountable for the daily execution of the operational tasks and services required to operate the oil and gas production. This position will be located in Dunn Center, ND.
Responsibilities:

• • Lead by example in completing mandatory training and HES leadership engagements
  • Works collaboratively to foster a cohesive team that proactively mitigates hazards through work planning, identifies opportunities for additional HES engineering controls, and drives continual HES improvement as measured through leading and lagging HES KPI's.
  • Ensure that all employees find ways to increase hazard awareness

• • Works collaboratively to maximize production, control costs, and minimize downtime in a safe, clean and responsible manner.
  • Review safety documents (tailgate safety meetings, safe work permits, ECP's, Shape cards) generated by your work group and coach as needed for improvements
  • Provide leadership and technical support on all operations and productions issues in the field (during and after hours)
  • Coaches both Marathon and contract operations and production personnel
  • Plan and lead weekly operators meeting and manage information "hand-off" between shifts. Facilitates an environment of open communications across shifts.
  • Checks operator readings sheets and production data entry to ensure compliance. Follows up on deficiencies.

• • Work with Ops Trainer on all required procedure changes and operator training curriculum.
  • Manages tools to track operations and production goals. Helps set goals for daily operations.
  • Provide input on schedule decisions.
  • Lead shutdown/startup/LOTO of production equipment, write MoCs, and various misc planning and execution tasks.
  • Conduct weekly planning and safety tailgate meetings.
  • Provides input on all production and processing decisions.
  • Acts as SME on all operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Fill in as operator when required.
  • Initiate MoCs and participate in all facets of Process Safety Management processes (PHAs, PSSRs, training, etc)
  • On-call: For processing and production issues. Includes not meeting product specs, production facility/field issues, etc.

• • Drive active engagement with other BAT Teams, including facilities engineering, production engineering, maintenance, and HES.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: 3+ years in the oil and gas industry preferred
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Products, eVIN/TOW/
• Time Management: Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at one time is required
• Communication: Must possess excellent communication, teamwork, planning, and organizing skills
