Role: Lead .NET Developer
Location: Houston, TX 77098 - 100% ONSITE

Position Summary
We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to assist in expanding our global analytics platform and data capabilities. This role will work within a global team and have the opportunity to interface directly with our traders, analysts, researchers and data scientists to drive out requirements and deliver on a wide range of capabilities.Responsibilities

• Take lead on subset of project deliveries by removing ambiguity in requirements and managing dependencies/risks
• Work within distributed team to expand strategic set of data and analytics capabilities
• Work with other IT teams in collaborative projects across the data
• Participate in full development life cycle from definition to design to delivery
• Assist in driving emphasis of quality aspects across the team
• Work directly with end users when needed to drive out requirements needed for delivery
• Collaboration with global team including participation in daily scrum meetings, peer reviews and design sessions

Qualifications and Experience

• 6+ years' experience working with C# within global enterprise solutions
• 2+ years' experience operating in a technical lead role with a track record of success
• In depth understanding of market data concepts related to commodities trading and risk management
• Experience dealing with timeseries data and related analytical and risk management related uses
• Exposure to US gas and power markets including basic understanding of market and pricing concepts
• Experience with RDBMS and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Awareness of continuous integration and delivery concepts/technologies
• Experience working in an agile scrum development model
• Computer Science, MIS or related degree preferred
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
