We are seeking a curious and mission-driven Lead Mechanical Technician to join our Environments and Infrastructure team in Golden Valley, MN.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build, test, and troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot complex systems
- Collaborate with others
- Recommend improvements
U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Minimum 10+ years industry/military experience
- U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance
WE VALUE
We value candidates who may have one or more of the following skills:
- Associate of Science degree in a related STEM discipline (trade license in leu of AA.)
- Associate general applied science
- Experience with TIG welding and Laser Welding joinery
- Experience with powder metallurgy, hydraulic press, and metal powder molds
- Experience in building and maintaining vacuum or cryogenic systems
- Understanding of chemical handling protocols, compressed gases, and liquid cryogens
- Experience with chilled water systems and liquefied gas systems
- Experience transitioning components and processes from research and development to manufacturing
