This role will lead and coordinate the development of Spares development, Asset Inventory processes and Inventory Optimization projects.
- Work with clients to define and design Materials Management Processes and workflows
- Work with suppliers to generate client SPIRs, RSPL, and SPLs per client specifications
- Interface with project teams to review spare parts data
- Define and develop Spare Parts and Inventory Management KPIs
- Develop and Optimize Materials Management and Procurement Standards and Procedures
- Devine Inventory Min/Max stocking levels and determination processes and rules
- Strong data analytics and organizational skills
- Strong technical knowledge plant operations, procurement processes and project management. Proficient with material data standardization, cataloguing and integration with client CMMS
- Engage with client ERP software teams to provide Master Data
- Develop, review and update client spare parts philosophies/ methodologies to implement during the spare parts processes
- Coordinate between suppliers, maintenance management and client expectations
- Develop Spares an Inventory Management procedures and standards
- Participate in client workshops and reviews
- Catalogue Spare parts and assemble Bills of Materials
- Experience reading engineering documents like P&IDs, SPIRs, BOMs, data sheets and General arrangement drawings
- Lead client workshops
- Conduct Spares Criticality Assessment
- Support the development project documentation such as procedures, standards, and analysis. Development of technical reports, and conduct/ participate in lessons learnt sessions
- Identify specialist tools, spare parts and consumables details required for accompanying maintenance activities where necessary
- Lead a team of materials specialist and manage their development
- Capable of developing Technical Maintenance Methodologies
- Domain expertise in the development of Master Data development processes, and the application and specifications of Master Data Technical Objects
- Deep working knowledge in the configuration of On-premise and Enterprise level Asset Management or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) tools such as SAP, Maximo, and others
- Strong knowledge of CMMS and Procurement digital packages such as SAP, JDE, Oniqua, others
Minimum Qualifications:
BSc, BEng, BTech. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical and Computer (with a specialization in Instrumentation and Controls Engineering) disciplineMinimum Experience:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in the management of inventory and materials and in the execution of spares within operations or the development/ setup of materials and inventory greenfield and brownfield projects
- Experience in the development and configuration of Maintenance and Materials Master Data within a CMMS (Preferably SAP)
- Demonstrable balance of upstream and downstream energy asset operations
- Experience in design thinking and the definition and development of user and functional requirements
- Experience in the development of management procedures and standards
- Experience in the planning and execution of maintenance, supply chain processes and warehouse management practices Experience in leading people, teams and coordinating projects
