JOB DESCRIPTION
- Primary lead to delivery all Operating System and Hardware Management requirements for our mainframe move.
- Primary engineer for z/OS Operating System and RACF security.
- Manage all hardware and system components required to support SYSPLEX, Hardware Management Console (HMC), Central Processor(s) (CPU) hardware, Logical Partitions (LPARs), Global Resource Serialization (GRS), and Workload Manager (WLM).
- Provide assistance and services to team in software installation, RACF security setup, and system configuration requirements.
- Have 10+ years of experience with expertise in the skills/duties listed above.
Education: Bachelors Degree
Required Experience: Have 10+ years of experience with expertise in the skills/duties listed
Required Technical Skills: IBM z/OS; Resource Access Control Facility (RACF); Technical Management
Preferred Skills:
- Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance
- May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
- May serve as a team or task lead
