The Lead control mail clerk is responsible for processing incoming, and outgoing certified, classified, registered, express and otherwise controlled incoming mail according to contract and security procedures.
- Processes accountable incoming mail/parcels.
- Completes proper identification, control and tracking forms.
- Completes outgoing mail air bills, receipts as assorted paperwork.
- Responsible for following safety standards and guidelines in the proper use of equipment and other activities.
- Responsible for fostering a positive team spirit and producing quality work.
- Responsible for appropriate conduct and/or demeanor as dictated by Didlake policy and procedure.
- Completes required paperwork and/or documentation.
- Completes and maintains all required Didlake trainings.
- Other duties as assigned and/or specified in Statement of Work.

- H.S. Diploma or equivalent plus 6 months' working in a mailroom, handling packages, or related experience preferred.
- Must possess the ability to pass and obtain a Q security clearance background check and a DOE building pass (Drug test required).
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable on the corporate automobile insurance policy.
- Must possess adequate communication skills including the ability to read and write basic correspondence.
- Ability to recognize and sequence numbers and letters; ability to count to 10.
- Must also project a positive and professional image to the public, co-workers.
- Must possess proficient computer skills.
- Must be a US Citizen.
