Role
As a Lead Machinist (also known as CNC & Manual Machinist, Machining Supervisor), you'll be a key player in our growing team, managing a group of machinists, organizing workflow, and collaborating with engineering on new part designs. You'll also be responsible for maintaining multiple machines, applying lean manufacturing principles, and training others to build a strong team.

- Proficiency in CNC programming, CAM, CAD, tooling set-up, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with GD&T, G-Code, M-Code, blueprint reading, and CAD/CAM software.
- Ability to hold tight tolerances milling to .0005, surface grinding to 0.0002.
- Good communication skills, particularly in writing procedures and documenting set-ups.
- Experience with CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC), CAM Software (Bobcad), calipers and micrometers, surface grinder, manual lathe, boring mill, and engine lathe.
