In this role, you will work with teams to apply Machine Learning to digitally transform our business processes and the client experience of ADP’s products and solutions. You will assist our innovative software engineers in solving real-world business challenges using advanced Machine Learning techniques so our clients can run smoother with greater insights. You’ll be accountable for something significant: products that impact people’s lives.

No two days are the same. Everyday projects range from deep learning, research & development, algorithm development, natural language processing to DevOps. We want to provide access to the right tools and inspiration so you can solve complex problems creatively.

To thrive in this career as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer, you will apply your knowledge of Python and other object-oriented programming languages to ADP projects. You should have experience using deep learning, natural language processing, or Machine Learning systems. You’ll mentor junior-level engineers that join the team and help them find their niche. Our best engineers in this role are independent thinkers and proactive problem solvers, and as a senior team member, you will be a role model for these behaviors. Pace should not scare you. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Here is what you can expect on a typical day:

Innovative Recommendation & Language Solutions. Your journey begins by leveraging your expertise in Recommendation Systems, Natural language Understanding (NLU), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Conversation Engines, enriched by your solid background in Advanced Analytics & Predictive Modeling. You’ll confront complex challenges through adept analytical questioning, data extraction and analysis from varied sources, leading to the distillation of crucial insights.

Advanced Analytics & Predictive Modeling. From the outset, your ability to synthesize insights into compelling narratives, complemented by visual representations and actionable recommendations, will be instrumental in pioneering innovative solutions in recommendation and language technologies. This expertise not only sets the foundation for success but also positions you as a key player in driving forward-thinking outcomes —this will set you up for success on Day 1.

Experience. with graph databases and graph processing frameworks and at least 8 years of hands-on experience in Recommendation Engines, NLU NLP, and/or Conversation Systems, you bring a wealth of knowledge and a track record of impactful contributions in similar roles. Your experience acts as a cornerstone for innovative problem-solving and thought leadership within our team.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role
• Fluency in Python – including popular data science packages (pandas, sklearn, etc) and quality tests
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and methods used in the data science field
• Experience with Machine Learning model development and deployment
• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing and Conversation Engines
• Experience with Recommendation systems
• Knowledge with Cloud solutions (AWS preferred)
• Interest in LLMs, Generative AI and Graph databases
• Ability to work with ML Ops and Software Development in various projects
• Experience with integrating data products (recommender systems, classifiers, chatbots, etc) into applications in production environments

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $75,600.00 – $202,590.00 / Year
