responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and support a small team of AI researchers and engineers in building state of the art ML models that shape the future of video software.
Play a critical role in researching and creating novel transformer-based architectures and applying them to solve real world problems
Lead the development and execution of our AI roadmap and long term strategy, and evaluate the technical and product trade-offs for ML related features
Collaborate with the broader team to conceptualize and ship incredible experiences directly to Captions' users
requirements:
7+ years of ML industry experience (or PhD with 4+ years of ML industry experience). Strong leadership skills, with experience in establishing the technical direction for a high-performing team of AI / ML engineers
Advanced level knowledge of modern techniques in Machine Learning and deep learning, particularly in transformer architectures
Demonstrated experience in researching, architecting, and training deep learning models, including but not limited to GANs, Diffusion models, and NeRFs
Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms and data structures)

Compensation Range: $200K - $250K
