Job Description
NOTE: Candidate must be on W2 salary is $160 to $170k
- Minimum 9 years of experience in information technology, with experience leading all aspects of Development teams
- Extensive experience in the technology stack – Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Angular
- Extensive experience working with Infrastructure as Code (AWS Cloud Formation Templates, Azure ARM templates)
- Deep experience in troubleshooting RESTful Web Services with Java technologies
- Robust critical thinking skills coupled with a growth demeanor and ability to lead and mentor less experienced associates in problem solving discussions
- Demonstrated experience in communicating technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members and partners
- Proven ability to collaborate and provide technical leadership with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner
- Solid experience in architectural patterns, micro-services, messaging/event driven frameworks and enterprise databases in an agile environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to tackle issues by making timely decisions based on facts, knowledge, experience, and judgment
- Strong experience in CI/CD practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and work on production issues, Splunk and Datadog tools
- GIT, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, Terraform cloud experience preferred
- AWS Certification is a plus
- Experience in agile methodology preferred
- Top SKills: Tech lead experience is ideal, would take someone who is a rockstar that is moving into tech lead role but has not yet been one
- Worked in database environment
- AWS anything with EC2 or Kubernetes, EKS, infrastructure as code type experience
- Java (we are on 1.8, would take 1.7)-7+ years, springboot, apps that are web applications
- Excellent communication skills-biggest priority for manager
- Ability to set direction for team
- CI/CD pipeline experience-oversee development of functions
