Active Education helps children play and build social skills through physical and mental activities, by working in local Elementary Schools to provide fun, activities, and games as a vehicle to support reducing discipline, increase child physical activity, and be mentors.

THE ROLE:

You will deliver a structured activity program 4-5 days a week at a local elementary school for 2 hours 45 mins. This is an in-person position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Organize activities and games
• Teach children how to play games
• Engage with students to become active participants
• Encourage social-emotional learning and positive behaviors
• Aid conflict resolutions
• Communicate and liaise with school staff
• Follow a curriculum

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Experience:

• Sports coaching: 2 years (Preferred)
