Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:

The Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician will help keep the building and production lines running smoothly. Under general supervision, this person will perform a variety of general maintenance duties which include electrical and mechanical work to repair facilities and equipment.

Essential Functions

• You will use your knowledge with difficult repairs
• Work under pressure to fix equipment in a high speed environment
• Work urgently to get the equipment up and running
• Troubleshooting issues on a wide variety of equipment
• Repair failures of production and facilities equipment
• Maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability
• Preform Preventative and Predictive maintenance.
• You will work from task lists when diagnosing machines and taking corrective actions
• Complete work orders that are assigned in a timely manner
• Assign team members work orders
• Order Spare parts
• Sustain organization and 5S standards
• Process Validation

Required Education

· High School diploma or equivalent

· 8 years of trades

· Journeyman’s Card and/or Associates degree preferred

Job Experience

· Basic Hand tool

· Experience with injection molding machines and automation

· Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience

· AC/DC Motor

· Fork truck/Boom Lift exp

· Blueprint/Schematic Reading

· Basic Welding

· Basic PLC Programming

· Ordering spare parts

· Fabrication

Knowledge and Skills:

· Basic computer knowledge

· Simens Simatic

· ABB robots

· Ladder logic

· Power tools

· Motor/Pumps

· Hydraulic systems

· Electrical

· HVAC
