Industrial Maintenance Technician- 1St Shift

Maintenance Mechanic:

Shift is 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Structural LLC is looking to hire 1 Maintenance worker. Must work well as a team but also be a self-starter. Must have great troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Our company is a fast paced warehouse with heavy machinery that needs regular maintenance and repairs. We have 3 large saws, and many assembly lines. We are looking for someone with experience working on large machinery that knows how to change belts, and has some welding or electrical background.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
• Walk the grounds and recognize areas including the building structure that need attention and schedule the work to repair and/or replace those specific items.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Conserve’s maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Minor welding
• Some electrical work
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Reliable in showing up daily to work on the agreed upon schedule.
• Reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
