What You'll Get To Do
Lead the maintenance of the companys HRIS Landscape – including all relevant integrated and non-integrated systems and infrastructure:

  • Make recommendations to improve the functionality and effectiveness of all HR systems
  • Continuously improve and maintain system for relevant HR functional areas
  • Lead the implementation of upgrades and modifications as they are released from all associated vendors
  • Lead the implementation of release management
  • Partner with respective HRIS analysts to define and create the future of HR systems
  • Ensure that the HRIS functionality is meeting the Users needs
  • Partner with customers to gather business requirements

Evaluate requests for changes, analyze the impact on the entire system & infrastructure, submit recommendations for approvals, and prioritize and schedule completion of approved requests:

  • Provide Tier 2 support and resolution for Compensation and Benefits issues as they arise
  • Perform configuration in Workday and document Compensation and Benefits related changes and processes
  • Work on Workday Compensation and Benefits enhancements to provide solutions across multiple businesses
  • Partner with customer and HRIS team members on yearly compensation cycle and to provide project support
  • Help with configuration, delivery, and execution across the entire open enrollment life cycle within Workday
  • Help provide support with 3rd party systems, Benefits admin portal and benefit vendor integrations
  • Provide assistance across additional Workday disciplines as necessary

Build a high performing team and lead a culture of accountability:

  • Coach team members and organize efforts to ensure productive, on time, and accurate system implementation progress

Write and update system documentation and provide communications as modifications and system upgrades are performed:

  • Write and update project documentation as enhancements and developments are performed
  • Serve as an escalation resource for systems issues
  • Run periodic system audits, review and distribute to users for corrections
  • Continuously interact with Workday Community to ensure awareness of current and future enhancements

Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday and or associated systems:

  • Utilize the Panasonic Data Management & Security Protocols to protect, properly share, and store data
  • Provide input and knowledge sharing with Workday Team Lead, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate
  • Partner with the Analytics and Reporting team to run data queries
  • Assist in following proper procedures to ensure compliance related to Panasonic Policy, Systems and Data Management Protocols
  • Follow change management process to ensure quality and consistency across all System and Data platforms

What You'll Bring

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 5 plus years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in configuring and implementing various modules within Workday cloud enterprise applications
  • Experience in administration of HCM applications
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience
  • Workday certification or other system certification in relevant support area

  • Ability to define problems effectively, curate and analyze relevant data, establish facts, and draw valid and concrete conclusions to make and support sound recommendations
  • Demonstrated proven ability to manage multiple, often competing project workloads and activities
  • Comfort and ability to work effectively in both independent and team-based scenarios
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with individuals at all levels
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to manage and work with confidential information

  • Attention to detail and thoroughness required
  • Ability to work on highly cross-functional, geographically distributed project teams
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Self-driven and able to lead others or work autonomously to drive solution decisions, troubleshoot system issues, and perform root-cause analysis

  • Key communications contacts, internal external and level of persuasion required
  • Well-developed interpersonal ability to gain trust and confidence from peers, HR leadership and business leadership
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to conduct storytelling with data highly preferred

The salary range of $100,000 - $127,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
