About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst within WIM Lending. Wealth and Investment Management ("WIM") is a leading full service, US wealth management business with over $2 trillion in client assets, 3 million clients and 12,500 financial advisors. WIM is one of the five core lines of Business at Wells Fargo and represents 20% of firm-wide revenue. This role is part of the WIM Finance team and will report to the CFO of WIM Lending. The Lead Finance analyst will be the strategic finance partner on a day-to-day basis supporting WIM's Custom Lending and Mortgage portfolios, and pricing strategies.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance
  • Provide companywide advice and technical expertise on matters related to complex financial analysis as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions
  • Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning
  • Provide support to more experienced professionals in the management of product pricing, portfolio performance, closing research and validation
  • Review technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
  • Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards
  • Lead implementation of the most complex initiatives impacting multiple lines of business companywide
  • Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supporting a wealth, consumer or commercial lending business.
  • Embrace change in a manner that mitigates risk and
    organizational confusion
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to coherently present complex financial topics tailored to all audience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Wealth or Private Bank
  • Proficiency in BI tools Essbase, and/or Tableau.

Job Expectations:
  • Lead business contact for the Custom Lending and mortgage business, responsible for financial analysis and key metrics reporting, and business analytics, and pricing
  • Interface with the Product Management team, and support profitability analysis across Lending products
  • Review and guide junior analysts in the team.

Pay Range
$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
