Job description

This Lead Finance Analystwill support the Merchant Services business and be part of Wells Fargo's broader Card and Merchant Services finance team.
This role will have general Finance and FP&A responsibilities with respect to Merchant Servicesrevenue, inclusive of the following:

  • Forecasting/budgeting
  • Month end activities
  • Financial Reporting
  • Trending and analysis of underlying revenue drivers
  • Delivery of revenue insights to business and financial leadership

In this Role:
This role will also provide finance support to the Merchant Services business with respect to strategic and transformation efforts. Transformation efforts will require cross-functional coordination with partners across enterprise finance as well as the Merchant Services business, technology and controls partners. Transformation support will also include regular reporting and updates to senior level finance and business partners. This role will report directly to the Merchant Services CFO and have visibility across all levels of finance and the Merchant Services business.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Merchant Services industry experience

Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the Merchant Services revenue components and funds flows
  • Awareness of Merchant Services industry and players within the broader Merchant Services/payments ecosystem
  • Ability to effectively partner and collaborate with both business and finance constituents.
  • Experience supporting transformation and/or strategic initiatives.
  • Experience assessing and analyzing raw data sets and transforming to actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting.
