THE CHALLENGE

Onward Energy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead ERP Business Systems Analyst to play an instrumental role in our exciting transformation journey to implement Workday Finance, HR, and Planning solutions across our organization. This role will be pivotal in all facets of the project implementation and postproduction maintenance.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into requirements.
  • System Configuration: Configure Workday modules to align with business requirements across the ERP solution.
  • Data Migration: Validate transition of data from legacy systems to Workday, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate Workday configurations and integrations.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, business processes, and project-related workflows.
  • Training: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient with Workday functionalities.
  • Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting issues and collaborate with the implementation team to resolve any challenges that arise.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with the project team members to ensure the successful and timely delivery of the Workday implementation project.
  • Post Implementation: Support troubleshooting production issues, configure and test new requirements, and develop and test additional reporting requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Workday updates and industry best practices, and emerging trends, providing recommendations for system enhancements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

THE PROFILE TO SUCCEED

Bachelor’s Degree in business, information technology, or related field.

  • Ten (10)+ years of experience as an ERP Business Systems Analyst, particularly in all facets of an implementation project.
  • Strong understanding of Financial and\or HR business processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with project stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment; ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Work well independently and collaboratively with a cross-functional team.
  • Team player with a “no task is too small” attitude.

THE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to accomplish physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to talk, hear, and close and distance vision capability.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

THE WORK ENVIRONMENT

The position functions in a smoke and vaping free professional office environment. The role routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as laptop computer, phone, and scanner/photocopier.
