The role of a Lead Enterprise Architect designs and facilitates all aspects of business and technology architecture from idea to roadmap providing value by reducing cost, increasing availability and improving security. This position works closely with stakeholders to enable business capabilities across Customer Relationship Management, Master Data Management, Enterprise Resource Planning and Application Integration. The Enterprise Architect recommends solutions that facilitate decision-making or develops contingencies where precedents do not exist. Work requires high interpretive skills and logical reasoning to identify solutions that may impact and affect results of a wider operational area.
This position will be a hybrid position based out of our Lake Mary, Florida office or our Atlanta, Georgia office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and maintain the technology strategy and roadmap for an organization or business unit
  • Define and enforce technical standards and guidelines across multiple software systems or applications
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for technical architecture across an enterprise
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop technical solutions that meet those needs
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to architects and developers
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, consultants, and other external partners
  • Participate in the development of business cases and project proposals
  • Collaborate with business and IT leaders to identify and define the organization's strategic goals and objectives related to technology solutions and systems
  • Develop and maintain the overall Enterprise Architecture strategy, roadmap, and framework that supports the organization's strategic direction and goals
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, enterprise-wide systems and solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives
  • Provide guidance and expertise to IT and business stakeholders on technical architecture and design issues, including application architecture, data architecture, infrastructure architecture, and security architecture
  • Identify and manage technical risks and issues related to enterprise-wide systems and solutions, and developing mitigation strategies to address them
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners to support the organization's Enterprise Architecture strategy and goals
  • Provide thought leadership on industry trends and emerging technologies related to Enterprise Architecture and technology solutions

QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Expert knowledge and experience in IT architecture, design, and development
  • Demonstrated expertise in Enterprise Architecture, including application architecture, data architecture, infrastructure architecture, and security architecture
  • Experience leading the design, development, and implementation of large-scale, complex enterprise-wide systems and solutions
  • Strong leadership and excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with IT and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and frameworks
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
  • Broad expertise, knowledge, and experience in software development and architecture
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing technical strategy and roadmaps
  • Experience in developing and enforcing technical standards and guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with business stakeholders, executive leadership, and technical teams
  • Experience leading and mentoring technical teams and architects
  • Experience with strategic planning, governance, and risk management
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage vendor and external partner relationships
  • Experience with budgeting and resource allocation
