The Opportunity
“As a Lead Engineer - Enterprise Messaging, M365, your role is crucial for ensuring our organization’s communication and collaboration strategy. You will be responsible for Configuring and setting FICO’s enterprise email policies, partnering with Cyber Security to protect our messaging platforms, implementing Microsoft Office 365 configurations, and resolving escalated messaging questions and issues from our International user-base. What You’ll Contribute
Configure and manage Office 365 Exchange Online, including mail flow, security, compliance, and migration tasks.
Monitor email systems for performance, reliability, and security vulnerabilities, and implement necessary enhancements or fixes.
Collaborate with other IT teams, Cyber Security, Legal and stakeholders to integrate email systems with other enterprise applications and services.
Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to email administration, and security protocols.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for email-related issues, including user mailbox management, email routing, and spam filtering.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in email administration and cybersecurity and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
Conduct periodic audits and assessments of email systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Configure and manage Microsoft Teams instant messaging system.
Configure and manage Zoom video conferencing systems.
Administer enterprise-wide Microsoft user-based licensing as appropriate.
What We’re Seeking
In-depth experience as a Microsoft Email Administrator or similar role, with a strong focus on Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365.
Strong experience in IT/IS system administration.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Exchange Server, Exchange Online, and associated technologies (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, SMTP).
Hands-on experience with email migration projects, including transitioning from on-premises Exchange to Office 365.
Familiarity with email security concepts and tools, such as anti-spam, anti-malware, DKIM, DMARC, and SPF.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex email issues and implement effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with users, stakeholders, and team members.
Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE: Messaging, MCSA: Office 365) are preferred.
Experience with Zoom video conferencing and phone systems preferred.
Experience managing instant messaging systems such as Teams or Skype a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The targeted base pay range for this role is: $74,000 to $116,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
