Lead Electrical Lab Technician

Terran Orbital is seeking a Lab Technicianto join our growing team as Lab Manager. Reporting to the head of the Components and Modules Organization you will be a critical member to aiding in the development of innovative designs.

  Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for ordering and maintaining usage of lab equipment and compliance in the CMG lab area.
• Maintain check in – check out process for all lab equipment.
• Maintain bench assignments including tracking of floating bench usage and orderliness.
• Tracking of test material and equipment calibration schedules.
• Work with lab users to keep organized and respectful lab space.
• Able to support engineering with test set up and execution.
• Able to support with soldering and harness creation as needed to ensure efficiency in activities.
• Able to work with EHS, integration test and other teams to organize activities in a safe and secure manner.

 Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 10+ years’ experience working in an Electrical Lab
• Experience utilizing Jira
• Experience managing lab equipment and calibration schedules
• Able to demonstrate ability to use lab equipment such as scopes, DAQs and Soldering Equipment

Salary Range $26.00 - $36.00 per hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands

An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. This position is generally sedentary, with substantial computer usage.

Work Environment

The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
