Job DescriptionMarketplace is looking for a Branded Content Editor with experience working across multiple advertiser campaigns to join the Marketplace team.
This position will report to the SVP of Content but will work closely with our BD teams to write, assign, edit and publish content that meets client objectives and aligns with our content guidelines. This position will sit outside of the Editorial teams. In this role, you’ll run day-to-day content needs for sponsored campaigns from ideation to production, while working closely with Sales and Content leadership.

Responsibilities:
- Help the company build and scale Branded Content efforts, including ideation, editing, assigning and writing content
- Align with Business Development on sponsored and Branded Content article concepts and ideas that align with advertiser goals
- Manage the day-to-day Branded Content workflow as content lead for the team, editing all creative elements
- Edit social copy, newsletter descriptions and other campaign-related copy as needed
- Recruit new Branded Content freelancers and manage freelancer assignments. Train and support freelancers on house style
- Work with Content leadership to create and manage branded and sponsored content, ensuring deliverables are met
- Ensure sponsored content is factually accurate and appropriate for publication on Marketplace; following in-house and AP style
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience editing Branded Content for a publisher content studio or agency
- 3-5 years of experience in digital media
- Ability to independently hit multiple deadlines across a variety of projects
- Strong understanding of consumer, health care or small business topics
- Experience with FTC best practices, willingness to learn and expand skills
- Ability to ideate, research, write and edit quickly on a variety of topics
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong client-facing presentation skills
- Nimble and open to changes in strategy
- Familiarity with Airtable a plus
