EDUCATION / MINIMUM YEARS REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor Degree in any Quantitative Field
(e.g. CS, CIS, Stats, Engineering, Econ, Data Science, Natural Science)
2. Minimum 5 years exp in Data Analytics or Statistical Analysis (3 yrs if MS Degree)
May consider more senior Data Engineers without degree if 8-15 yrs exp
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED
- Very strong expertise in data munging using SQL
- Highly skilled in data analysis techniques: regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, and optimization
- Knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data.
- Strong experience creating and maintaining data warehouses with Big Data technologies (example: Cloudera Hadoop, Snowflake)
- Experience with at least one programming language (examples: Python, pySpark, Scala)
- Successfully developed solutions on cloud computing services and infrastructure in the data and analytics space
- Great presentation skills using PowerBI, Tableau, PowerPoint and Excel
