JOB SUMMARY
Physical Demands
Work is primarily sedentary in nature.
Most of the job is spent communicating with customers and other employees, therefore, must be able to verbally communicate clearly
Data entry comprises a large part of the job and some filing is required.
You will be required to lift 40 lb. boxes of paper several times per shift to replenish the printer supply
This task will require standing, stooping, bending, squatting and lifting
You will also have to walk to the Transportation Department to deliver packets on a hand cart which will require bending, pulling and pushing a cart for 600 ft (round trip) 10 times per shift
Mental/Visual Demands
You must be able to read text that is close and at a distance with or without correction
In addition, you must be able to perform manual tasks, hear, sit, reach, lift, bend, and interact with others
Working Conditions
100% of the job is spent in an office environment
Equipment Operated
A calculator, copier, fax, PC, Microsoft Office applications, telephone and mainframe printer are typical equipment used in this position.
