The Pillars of Mankato is looking for a Lead Server/Culinary Assistant. This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents , cleaning, stocking, and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Living Community located in Mankato, MN.
This Full Time Lead Culinary Assistant food services role schedule includes;
- 80 hours every two weeks
- Includes every other weekend saturday/sunday and holidays rotation

The Pillars of Mankato provides independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartments for seniors in a specially designed community. We incorporate the seven components of wellness (emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual, social, environmental, and occupational) into our 118 units that make up The Pillars. Located near the crossroads of US 14 and 169, our community has its bus that residents can ride for our outings.
- Promotes and encourages positive tenant/resident relations and satisfaction
- Provides support and direction to Culinary Assistants
- Acts as Lead for Dining Staff
- Supports Culinary Director to ensure quality culinary outcomes
- Serves meals and ensures the dining area is clean inviting
Required:
- 0-1 year experience
Other Required Skills:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
Preferred:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1-3 years previous experience
