Lead Content Designer, Growth

FocusKPI is looking for a Lead Content Designer, Growth to join our client, a high-tech SaaS company. 
The main function of a Senior Content Designer to be a key pillar in the Growth Design team.
In this role, you will report into the Design Manager, Growth and join an organization consisting of multiple teams across North America and Australia. As a high level individual contributor, you'll lead strategic growth design work all aiming to deliver a better time to value for our customers. You will partner with other Growth Product and Content designers and multiple design teams across the company. Together, you will create high quality experiences that feel like they came from one set of hands and communicate a strong point of view. Leading this space means you will focus on expanding our over 250,000 customer base in 190 countries, having direct impact for tens of thousands of customers and millions of users!
Work Location: Remote, required: west coast.
Duration: 6 months contract
Pay Range: $90/hr to $103/hr
Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic initiatives (determining needs, objectives, approaches, and evaluation criteria) that aim to deliver better experiences for our customers and help achieve business goals 
• Collaborate with other content design leads to standardize content experiences, and connect the dots across the client company
• Partner with cross function peers very closely to deliver designers for experiments
• Mentor and develop the craft of Content Designers across the Growth org 
• Bring the perspective and needs of content design to larger design strategic projects
• Contribute to programs outside of Growth design which improve overall content design capability 

Qualifications:

• 9+ years of professional content design experience, backed by high-quality writing, content strategy, go-to-market strategy, and communication skills; •
• Strong facilitation and collaboration skills: you can demonstrate the ability to work with multiple teams, solicit and summarize feedback, and facilitate design discussions; 
• Openness to the iterative content design process – always showing work in progress, validating with customers and data, iterating, shipping, and learning; and, 
• Experience conducting and applying customer research, including design thinking and conceptual modeling. 
• Passion for story-telling, the ability to bring design direction to life with compelling narrative •
• You can engage both technical and non-technical audiences and inspire various disciplines • Experience in design systems, the ability to identify content required to support a wide array of customer use cases. 
• Have a portfolio that includes UX and technical writing samples, workflows, content templates, style guides, or standards for different content types 
• Comfortable using design tools e.g. Figma, Figjam, Mural
