RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Work on CNC Machines to thoroughly learn the business.
• Once familiar with daily CNC machine work and the company business, begin assisting with the production schedule and coordinating with the production team to ensure that all orders are completed on time.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to establish production schedules.
• Track inventory levels and order materials as needed.
• Ensure that all materials are available for production.  
• Communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery times.
• Monitor project delivery timelines, check work quality against company requirements and specifications and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Help resolve any issues that arise during the production process.
• Ensure OSHA requirements are met in the production area.
• Complete other tasks and projects, as assigned.   

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

• 2-year degree required; 4-year degree is preferred.
• 5 years of experience working as a CNC Machinist.  Must be able to set-up, edit and program CNC machines.
• Knowledge of manufacturing work. Familiar with scheduling, expediting and production processes.
• Understanding of the goods being procured.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and customers at all levels.
• Excellent computer proficiency and organization skills.
• Conducts self professionally. Believes in continuous improvement, both at the company and individual level.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
