World Gym Pensacola is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Afternoon Shift Front Desk Receptionist. This position plays a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for our members while also contributing to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the gym.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide information about gym services, programs, and membership options.
- Handle inquiries, concerns, and requests with a customer-centric approach.
- Membership Sales:
- Actively engage with potential members to promote and sell gym memberships.
- Effectively communicate membership benefits and promotions.
- Maintain accurate records of membership sales and assist with paperwork.
- Facility Maintenance:
- Perform regular cleaning duties to ensure the gym is tidy and hygienic.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, bathrooms, floors, and walls according to established standards.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
- Cash Handling:
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide receipts.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile discrepancies.
- Security:
- Monitor access to the facility, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
- Follow security protocols to maintain a safe environment for members and staff.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Assist with administrative duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing member inquiries.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and move gym equipment if necessary.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
