```Job Summary```
Our hiring partner is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join their team in Springfield. As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing various carpentry projects. Your expertise in fabricating, caulking, masonry, painting, electrical work, fixture installation, and general carpentry will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of projects.
```Responsibilities```
- Lead and supervise a team of carpenters to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Fabricate and install various woodwork components such as cabinets, shelves, doors, and windows
- Perform masonry work including bricklaying and concrete finishing
- Conduct construction painting tasks including surface preparation and application of paint or stain
- Estimate materials and labor costs for carpentry projects
- Install electrical fixtures and wiring as needed
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate project tasks
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or Lead Carpenter
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and best practices
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction drawings
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lead a team effectively
- Good communication skills
