Job Title: Lead Cabinet Builder

Location: 3180 165th St E, Suite 300, Rosemount, MN 55068

Salary: Up to $30.00 per hour (Dependent on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 8 Hour Day / Monday to Friday

Required Experience: Cabinet Building (Minimum 5 years)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Whole House Cabinetry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cabinet Builder to join our team. As the Lead Cabinet Builder, you will be involved in the process of building custom cabinetry for our residential and commercial projects. We are a rapidly growing, family owned, custom cabinetry shop based out of Rosemount, MN that builds, finishes, and installs high-quality, handcrafted, custom cabinets for homes across all of Minnesota and for commercial buildings across the Midwest. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Construct custom cabinets according to specifications and design requirements.
  • Provide technical support to other members of our cabinet building team throughout the cabinet construction process.
  • Interpret CAD drawings and design specifications to plan and execute cabinet construction projects.
  • Select appropriate materials, including wood and hardware, ensuring quality and suitability for each project.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape and assemble cabinet components.
  • Measure and cut materials with precision to ensure accurate fit and alignment.
  • Collaborate with owners, designers, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Conduct quality inspections at various stages of construction to ensure craftsmanship standards are met and any defects are addressed.
  • Trouble shoot and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cabinet Builder or similar role in a cabinet shop.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to custom build pieces in an efficient manner with focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comply with all Whole House Cabinetry policies and procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Ability to operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment for use in the cabinet building process.
