Lead Application Developer/Programmer

Summary:
In this role you will be part of the Mobile Applications Platform Team that is accountable for delivering the teams desired business outcomes as prioritized in the Digital Products backlogs. You will develop and manage the technology components of the Products to meet business requirements while also providing insights and innovations to improve utilization, reduce technical debt and reduce total cost of ownership of the Products technology ecosystem. As a consultant-level Developer, you will be a key leader within the Product teams, providing technical leadership to other members of the team while also fostering an engaging team experience that aligns with our Great Place to Work objectives.
Responsibilities:

• Design and develop user interfaces, application programs using the technical specifications and design documents
• Recommend improvements to the SDLC and other departmental processes
• Improve the reliability and utilization of systems and applications
• Monitor software configuration changes to anticipate and address the impact of data reliability and customer satisfaction issues
• Coordinate sustaining support for 1-2 application platforms or business processes
• Provide technical leadership and quality management of the mobile application within and across teams
• Plan and execute lifecycle management activities to ensure our mobile applications remain current across the technical stack, including 3rd party SDKs
• Identify and propose solutions for improving team efficiency and effectivess
• Provide insights and recommendations to the Mobile Platform Roadmap
• Partner with Business and UX to optimize the technical benefits available on the mobile platform

Education and Experience:

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
• 4 years of the 7 total years of mobile development experience must be Android
• Good understanding of Objected Oriented Analysis and Design concepts and good experience with Android SDK, Android Studio development tools.
• Experience implementing integrations using RESTful web services, working with authentication and authorization frameworks/protocols (OAuth/SAML)
• Good experience with MVC/MVVM/MVP design patterns and programming technologies like Java, Kotlin, Objective C, and Swift
• Understanding of Googles Android design principles, Jetpack libraries, and interface guidelines

Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
